Just a little about me.

Welcome, my name is Mandy. I have been painting for many years, and I can hardly remember a time before I started. Six years ago, my art became even more important to me after I developed a very rare illness, I'm one of only 34 people worldwide with this condition.

One morning, I woke up with distorted vision. It was almost like double vision, with one image overlaid on another but misaligned. This happened three times over a year and a half. Then my vision started to go white, and I struggled to see. It was as if I could only make out highlights and lowlights, much like my paintings. During this time, I tried to paint but struggled, so I started painting what I could see.
I'm grateful every time I put brush to canvas. My vision has almost recovered to normal, though my right eye has never been the same. Despite this, I feel very blessed to continue painting and hope my art can brighten people's lives the way it does mine.
I have four grown-up children and amazing dogs who are incredibly important to me. I struggle in my everyday life because of my illness and the medication I am on, but I am happy and in much less pain. I spend most of my days in my studio with my music on, surrounded by my dogs, and I love my life. I want to share my creations with you and bring joy to others through my art
